The alias Kinder Scout references a first nation community scout who didn’t go looking or “scouting” for enemy territory or conflict. This peaceful or “kind” scout went on long journeys at his own peril to seek help or medicine for his people in times of sickness or need.

Aboriginal roots rock songwriter/guitarist Dale McArthur (aka Kinder Scout), originally from the White Bear First Nation, resides in Regina, Sk. Dale's passion for helping others is reflected in his ongoing contributions to the scene. Through ongoing hard work and dedication, Kinder Scout has been preparing to make a mark as a “life driven” force in the music industry that has paid his dues along the way to deliver good roots/rock music from the heart.

In 2014, Dale formed a power trio and has performed at events such as North American Indigenous Games 2014, CTV, outdoor summer festivals and has done many shows throughout 2014 as a professional industry artist.
