Releasing her debut single “Standing Alone” in November of 2015. Hayley’s calm and confident vocals accompanied by consistently strong musicianship, have all help convey the emotions found in her heartfelt lyrics. The alias Kinder Scout references a first nation community scout who didn’t go looking or “scouting” for enemy territory or conflict. This peaceful or “kind” scout went on long journeys at his own peril to seek help or medicine for his people in times of sickness or need.

Aboriginal roots rock songwriter/guitarist Dale McArthur (aka Kinder Scout), originally from the White Bear First Nation, resides in Regina, Sk. Dale's passion for helping others is reflected in his ongoing contributions to the scene. Through ongoing hard work and dedication, Kinder Scout has been preparing to make a mark as a “life driven” force in the music industry that has paid his dues along the way to deliver good roots/rock music from the heart.

In 2014, Dale formed a power trio and has performed at events such as North American Indigenous Games 2014, CTV, outdoor summer festivals and has done many shows throughout 2014 as a professional industry artist. Kinder Scout released an EP in Jan 2015 titled “WhistleMan” through Dakota Red Productions, Dale’s home studio and independent record label. Dale has attended a Sound Recording Workshop through CreativeSask and SaskMusic where Country Recording Artist Brett Kissell was recording his 2015 release. Dale successfully completed an audio mastering course through the world famous Berklee College of Music and applies his skills in his studio Dakota Red Productions for artists. Dale organized a Hand Drum Making and Music workshop for aboriginal urban youth in partnership with Sakewewak Artists’ Collective Inc. Dale had booked his own Summer 2015 tour across Saskatchewan, performed at outdoor summer festivals where names such as Dead South, The Stampeders, took the stage, and was featured on TV, Radio and media print. Dale produced a theme song for the Regina based TV show The Four. Dale went on to receive one on one performance coaching through CreativeSask and SaskMusic at the Tom Jackson’s Live Performance workshop to further develop his skills as a solo performance artist. In Jan. 2016, Dale attended a Songwriting Master Class through Creative Sask and SaskMusic hosted by Jason Blume to further develop his songwriting and storytelling skills. In Feb 2016, Dale released a new self-produced single to radio before travelling to Nashville, TN to perform at world famous venues such as The Commodore, Douglas Cafe, and Pihranna’s.
